Shastri Philip is a researcher and communi -cator. He obtained his PhD in quantum-nuclear physics from the Jiwaji University in Gwalior, MP. His work was on the quark-structure of Hadrons. He also has doctoral degrees in Alternative Medicines and in the Philosophy of Christian Faith (Apologetics). At present he is working towards a doctorate in archeology

He is a communicator at heart, and has 70 books and 7000 articles to his credit. His Sarathi Blog in Hindi enjoys worldwide readership, and gets more than 50000 hits a month.

In his early childhood he was heavily influenced Dr. Kamal Vashishta and Captain GM Sing Gill. Both of these men had connections with the freedom struggle of India and this influence made him a staunch nationalist and an outspoken critic of European imperialism under which India suffered for centuries.

Sarathi (the Pilot) is his call to nationalist Indians worldwide to rise up and rebuild India on the basis of everlasting values (शाश्वत सत्य, शाश्वत मूल्य) so that India becomes a world power and once again becomes the envy of the world.
